What this audience should prioritize

Frontline employees rarely sit at a computer, change shifts often and may not have a company email address. Engagement tools for these teams need low per-head pricing, short surveys and results that supervisors can act on. None of the products here document how deskless staff receive surveys, so confirm the access method in a demo.

Per-user pricing hits hardest at high headcount. Workleap Officevibe starts at $4,999 a year on Standard for up to 250 employees, and 15Five's Engage plan is $4 a user each month. Qualtrics sits at the other end: buyer reports put EmployeeXM at up to about $120,000 a year near 1,000 employees, with enterprise suites in six figures, which rules it out for most hourly operators below enterprise size.

Survey fatigue is a bigger risk when breaks are short and scarce. Qualtrics reviewers report participation dropping when employees receive four to six survey requests a quarter. Peakon measures engagement but does not include recognition or communication tools to improve it, so frontline employers may still need separate channels for acting on feedback.
